can you use a slice of bread from an 800g loaf as an HEB?

You are allowed 60g so I think it actually comes to 1 and a half slices, you could syn the rest.

I sometimes do the 60g trick, which is indeed 1.5 slices. Although if you do this every day, keep an eye on if it affects losses. Other point is your HEb bread has to be wholemeal :) Full lists of what qualifies are on the dropdown menus in the online Food Diary - much more than is listed in the book!

Top tip - if you buy a lot of the 'own brand' breads ie Sainsburys Wholemeal then 2 slices from an 800g medium loaf come to 60g. They seem to slice them thinner. D you weigh it and it's over just cut one of the crusts off
