How did you get on trying a little fruit today?

The phobia you describe is how I feel about seafood, I can't watch someone eat seafood as I can imagine the texture in my mouth and my throat, just watching someone eat it makes me gag!

Have you tried making fruit into smoothies? Can you eat fruit in yogurts? Just thinking of ways to get all that fruity goodness into your daily diet!

Hi!

I had a few nibbles at a slice of apple...going to persevere with apple though. It made me heave when I first put it in my mouth but carried on and kept nibbling but then it made me heave again so stopped...going try again tomorrow though (sorry for the graphic description!) Ive never tried smoothies...a bit worried that they would have bits in them lol but I might start to give it a go.

I quite liked the taste of apple, going to try a pear and some banana tomorrow. I'm going to crack this "phobia" if it kills me, if I take it one step at a time, i'm sure ill manage it in the end!

I used to hate macaroni cheese, but I didn't want to! I liked the look of it, the smell of it, it just appealed to my every sense but the minute I felt the texture I couldn't eat it. I couldn't swallow it just hold it in my mouth! But I soooo wanted to like it, so I did train myself to like it! I can't eat lots of it but I do eat it now.

Its definately a texture thing with me, as I can't eat much mash potatoe and it takes a lot of effort for me to finish 2 weetabix when they go soggy!

Its a texture thing with me I think as well. I cant eat cheese as solid cheese, can only eat it melted...feels discusting in my mouth!

I'm gonna get there....slowly! Roll on the day I can snack on a 0 point apple!
