feel such a failure !

Hi guys

I'm.really.upset with myself today , my dad has cone home first I've seen him in 8mths and all family have cone out for a meal .. I.ended up having tomato soap and a Caesar salad :( I'm such a fool ..

Will this take me out ketosis ? My first fail.in 11 days ice stuck.100%

Hi Lisa,

What is done is done and I think under the circumstances you did well.

Ketosis is what protects you from the hunger pangs and cravings and when you come out of it when on a vlcd it can unleash the hunger monster big time...if you are not experiencing any strong cravings then I would think you are still in ketosis.

But today behind you now and carry on with the diet but don't be tempted to push the envelope when it comes to testing ketosis as you may have got away with it this time, the next time you may not be so lucky.

Don't worry about it! It would probably be impossible to stay 100% every day of the diet. And you seem to have picked good choices, its not like you went out and had a massive pizza and loads of dessert! If its a special occasion, sometimes there's not much you can do and you should just enjoy yourself. Just get back on the wagon and go for it, dont dwell on what you have eaten today. Keep your chin up you can do it :)

huni please don't worry - on week 2 I had a wedding to go to and ate chicken and veg and a bread roll and even a mouthful of pudding (then got them to take it away lol) sometimes it cant be helped - I still lost 4lb that week xxxxx don't beat yourself up x

you didnt go silly, you stuck with sensible choices which is a big achievement in itself. just dont go thinking you'v already done damage so whats the point in carrying on, stick with it and look forward to some sort of loss xxx
