With my OH, it was defo people saying. "Not seen you for ages, you look great".
I got a lot more attention from men but I never reciprocated. One bloke in the pub came up and asked me out and my OH was stood next to me. I just said, I don't think my boyfriend would approve and my boyfriend stormed out the pub saying i was giving out the wrong "signals"
I guess he wanted me more when nobody else wanted me, now he has competition he feels a bit threatened. I have reassured him not to be so bloody stupid and that I want to lose weight for him as well as for myself and so we can have a better quality of life together, not apart.
ALso as i have losing weight, I have started having new interests and going to the gym and stuff. Before I lost weight the only times i went out were with him to the local pub but now i am more confident and enjoy going out with girlfriends and stuff and he has struggled with that. I can see it from his side though, If your girlfirend of 6 years suddenly starts being more confident, dressing well and taking more pride in her appearance and going out without you then he has every right to feel scared. But men are funny creatures as when i was at my biggest he was always trying to encourage me to go out but I didn't want to and then when i do start going out he doesn't like that either.

What have you all been up to? Up to no good I imagine as you haven't been on here.
I went into town last night and bought a new dinnerset and a bin for my kitchen. Stopped me sitting in the house thinking about food.

wannabeskinny, how exciting to have your weigh in tomorrow. I too am in the office but working on market share figures today so just about to get a coffee then get stuck into it. Don't need to speak to the general public today but instead pend the day staring at a screen

Hello all! Well, what a manic morning at work. Two shakes down. I'm not in ketosis this week which is really annoying despite sticking rigidly. I am on antibiotics though - hope they're not making a difference. My WI is tomorrow too - really hoping for a good loss. Fed up of only losing 2 every week! x

Thats a whopping 104lbs, which is 7.5stone which is a small person

Thank you! Yes, I know its still good but its just I could lose the same on other diets and actually have food and have the energy to do proper exercise. See this is a quick fix before healthy eating and upping exercise again - half a stone a month isn't quick enough for me.

Very nearly had food tonight but resisted. I had bread in my hand and managed to throw it into the bin! x
 
well done you you dont need the bread, i know what you mean it being a quick fix, im struggling just with a pound/pound and a half a week, but what it has taught me is that it goes on quicker than it does to come off regardless of what diet plan you follow, yes i could be more rigid but have being ss+ for the past two weeks as i fancied some food, gonna ss next week, i needed to get rid of the food element in my life, so i can effectively start from the begining again, get myself to a happy weight then give myself options, do you eat that peice of bread or do you walk away, and by the end of my journey with CD i know that i will just walk away i have not need that bread for 12 weeks why when i come off Cd will i ever need it, my body does not want too many carbs if any. Sorry for babbling on x

You are right you could lose more by rigourously counting out each and every calorie that you eat and risking the temptation of eating too much. But for me CD works as it takes food out of the equation all together.
Right, how many weeks have you been on CD, it might help to look at it this way, if not then I apologise. By looking at previuos posts, you must be on about week 7 or 8. So if you have managed to lose 25lbs in 7 weeks thats really over 3.5lbs a week. I hope you continue with CD as it does work and I know you are having a bad time at the minute but just give it a chance and try to stick to it 100%. Sending you lots of encouragement today.

hi peachy im loitering around, my wi today dont think ive done enough to get 3 stone off maybe only a pound and a half if im lucky, i totally agree with you on needing to be rid of food and starting from a fresh thats why cd works it gives you the time to appreciate what it was that you were doing wrong and have enough time to do things right

hope you are all ok gonna go play on the arcade as im trying not to have two shakes before wi dont think it will help but need it this week x
 
Thanks girls! I just needed to moan I think.. Going to stick at it until the new year and see how I get on. Had a really good first two weeks and lost a stone - just its been so slow since then! I'm just being impatient...

How's everyone feeling anyway? Getting through the water ok? x

I know how your feel... i keep losing a couple of pounds a week but im not ready for the real food world yet, so im happy (ish) to keep to this i will be 100% this week i promise
 
as for the water no im struggling so will make an effort to drink more this week as well as 100% x
 
still no water for me today, 4 cups of coffee plus a shake.
Off to sort out a pint of H2o
 
Had my WI a day earlier than usual, and guess how much off? Two pounds - again!! Aargh! x
