flxi syns day

hey

i know i just started back to class on thursday but i had a hen night last night and i must off had about 40 syns worth offood and drink.

do i add this to weekly total or do i sweep those syns under the carpet and get on with it and start with 10 today?

i am straight back on plan this morning even though i have the most horrific hang over lol x

How many syns did you have on thurs/fri? You can have up to 15 per day, which is up to 105 per week. Whilst SW dont advocate using them weekly (because they want to encourage controlled sensible eating and not blow-outs) some people do work them out weekly, so if you had 10 thurs and fri, and 40 last night, that would leave you with 45 you can have between now and next weigh in, which is still over 10 a day from now till Weds. That's if you can be reasonably sure that what you consumed last night was no more than 40. Otherwise, drop it down a little further to maybe 7 a day, and hopefully that will counteract any effect from last night.

Flexisynning is not the same as going off plan, it is designed to keep you in control of a special occasion and your syns should be worked out before the event and stuck to. Hope that helps.
 
40 isn't too bad I would just count it and have as many syns a day as that allowed until next weigh in.

Flexi syn days we can only have if we work out how many syns we are gonna have before, so we can stay in control. I've not done this but as I understand it you pick an amount say 30 syns, and then count down with whatever drink/food you've planned to have.

I find it better to count syns daily but keep track of how many I've had for the week. Then when I have a treat I can just count it x
