Food ideas in Leicester!!

I am going down to Leicester in 2 weeks time to sit some very important exams over 3 days. I am staying in a travelodge so I wont have a kitchen I can cook in so I was wondering if anybody could give me any ideas on what I could eat whilst im down there. The Tuesday night wont be a problem as i will be with my mum and going for a meal so I will just pick sensibly of the menu.

My main dilemma is that I dont have heaps of money, I wont have much time so dont want to go to a restaurant every night and need to take food with me for my lunch inbetween exams. So, I have breakfast lunch and dinner to try to plan for the Wednesday and Thursday.

Anybody got any ideas......especially if you know leicester and know places I could get good salads or something from?!?!?!?!

I dont know the names of them, but there are some pretty good gastro pubs in Leicester that do jacket potato's, salads, pasta etc.
