Friday weighers

-2.5lb this week for me.... I'm pleased. I did basically stick to plan so I had my fingers crossed! But its nice when the scale shows a decrease ~ even though I know the scale itself doesn't hold my happiness, if you know what I mean.

Trying not to have a splurge tonight and will try to keep on plan for the next week. Mind you had French Onion Soup at the cafe at work and I never knew something so innocent sounding would be so many syns :sigh:

Must try to up my exercise next week. Saw my body in a mirror today... with just underwear on.... ugggg.... now there's an incentive

Half a pound off this week. Onwards and downwards :)
 
2.5 lbs off this week and only 3.5lbs to go til I hit my target! Been cycling loads and allowing myself a few treats to keep me going but weight loss sadly at the moment is due to stress with OH out of work :(
 
Just wanna wish everyone good luck for tomorrow.

I'll be surprised if I don't have a gain tomorrow :( cos I've been very slack this week - went camping and stayed longer than we planned so the last few days were very hit and miss with the food. Oh well, its not the end of the world if I have a gain, just gotta get back into it for next week.
 
Good morning and good luck to all for weigh in today! I am pleased as I lost 2.5lbs and worked hard for it too. I wont be here next week I will be on my jollies which I am going to enjoy therefore will more than likely gain but will try to swim lots everyday.
 
1lb off for me......pleased with that as it * week!
4.5lbs to target & would like to reach that by the 15th July as we're going to a Summer Ball & I have my 'posh frock' ready that I haven't worn yet. Im sooooo looking forward to wearing a long dress without the 'scary holdy in pants' on!!!!!!!

1lb off for me this morning. Considering I had an off-plan day on Saturday and * week is about to arrive any second i'm really happy with that result! Hope you all have a great friday x

I'm really fed up as only lost 0.5 lbs this week :( I've lived on soup for most of it & exercised like mad so feeling pretty down this morning :( I know I had one day off plan but I can normally make up for it...I think it must be a combination of yet more 'constipation' :( and getting so close to target. At least I know what it is but it doesn't make me feel any happier about it *sulk*

Half a pound is a great loss as you're so near to target....those last couple of pounds are b*****s!!! :(:(
Soup!!!.......have you been eating enough as you dont want your body going into starvation mode & that might explain the constipation as you've no food to poop out!!! :confused:
Try drinking more water or go for a run, that can clear out the pipes!!! :p

Thanks Kim, I know you are right. Soup is normally pretty good for weight loss as it's minestrone and full of vegs & beans. Think I might not be having enough calories for the exercise I've been doing so will try having more syns (but less involving vino lol!)
I drink about 2 litres of water a day so it shouldn't be that... Think I'll get back on the fibregel again :(
These last few pounds sure are a nightmare... Not sure 3 will be enough to fit in my goal jeans either :( xxx
Anyways enough sulking from me, I've done 15mins on exercise bike & will swim later so trying to stay focused!

I am weighing on Fridays, I am doing it 2 weekly though :) i lost 3lb today. Going to do it this time slowly but surely!

NOw I'm gonna spoil the mood and admit to my 1.5 lb gain :(
Have to say I'm disappointed but not shocked and I've got no excuses . . . . . a few reasons maybe but top and bottom of it is I haven't stayed on plan. Back to basics for me cos I really need to get half a stone off during the next 6 weeks, I have a wedding to go to in August and I refuse to buy my outfit until I can fit comfortably into a size 14! lol.

Mela - you have to stop beating yourself up, hun!!!!! You're an inspiration to the rest of us - Look at your stats!!! You've lost every single week since starting the plan almost 5 mths ago!!!! Thats a pretty impressive record so give yourself a break. :D

If you're still struggling with constipation then I'd suggest upping your water intake again - 2 ltrs is recommended as the norm so if you're exercising more then you need more water, at least another litre. Also, check your measurements - you may not be losing pounds but you could be losing inches as you're toning up. And you should increase your calories too - as long as its all superfree or free foods then get stuck in, lol. I've had my best losses when I've been eating every couple of hours.

Of course . . . . .. who am I to advise you when I've had a gain this week?????? :hide: lol
 
1lb off for me this week and boy did I have to work for it!! Been doing gym classes every day in addition to the 30 Day Shred so expected more - hopefully it will show next week and I can (finally) get myself into the 11s :)

Only just saw this post! Thank you so much for your kind & supportive words xxx I know you are right in all respects hun! I've upping the water this week so hope that makes a difference. Just find it strange that its the diet causing me this 'blockage' lol! Yet I've been on it months before it was a problem. God it is 5 months I've been doing this = scary hey ;)

Good morning Friday Weighers
I'm weighing in a day early this week as we're off to Jersey today for yet another social weekend! Was away last weekend socialising at hubby's work reunion & ate some quite unhealthy food as I had no choice in the pre-set menu & not a healthy bit of food to be seen except a few veggies on the Saturday night's 3 course meal! But hey ho, I knew it was going to be like that & was not going to worry too much......anyways, I STS.......yipee, really pleased with that as I got straight back on plan from Monday, so damage limitation achieved!
Now off for another food/alcohol injected weekend, with a Ball on Saturday so the posh frock is at the ready & I DONT need the 'scary holdy in pants'!!! Tried the dress on yesterday just to double check & was mighty pleased! Im also wearing my new size 10 white jeans to travel in.......Im a happy bunny as I've been doing SW for 7 months to reach this point. I know Im 4.5lbs off target, but feel pretty good at this weight & have had 3 seperate people say to me this week, "how skinny are you & how much weight have you lost"! Im certainly not skinny, but people are used to looking at the 'chubby' Kim!!!
Thank goodness after this weekend, we have 3 weeks with no socials. In fact we have a 60 mile charity bike ride around the hills of Dorset next weekend, so that should help shift the last few pounds! I would really like to reach target by our Summer Ball in 3 weeks, but certainly wont stress if I dont. Hubby actually doesn't want me to lose anymore weight, but Im a stubborn mare & said my target is 8.7, so I just want to see those scales say it!
Anyways, enough of me prattling on.......good luck for all your WI's tomorrow

This is hubby & I last weekend......he's 2 stone lighter than last August & Im 2 stone 5.5lbs lighter than last November!!! :D

Humf is all I can say...just another 0.5 lb loss for me again this week. But on the plus side I can see a difference on my tum! Slowly but surely my tummy is toning up and I can do up my goal shorts & jeans now...still have a bit of a muffin top though :( These last few pounds are so tough...
