Garlic Cloves in Brine?

I've bought some garlic cloves from Aldi in a jar (I like to eat them raw... I know, I know..) it says the Tesco ones are free on the Syns calculator, and they have much the same nutritional value as these ones do, but these ones are in brandy vinegar. It's saying 0.5 syn per serving on the Syns calculator, but it won't let me add garlic as a free food. Any ideas, anyone? TIA x

garlic is free, brine is water and salt, which are free, vinegar is free. Unless there are any other ingredients listed which you haven't mentioned, can't see that there would be any syns.
