Giving CD another go.

I started CD last March and things were going very well i was about 7lbs away from target when I moved away from my CD counsellor and slowly gave gave up. I now have gained all the weight I had lost and I am upset with the way I look and feel. I have got almost a months supply left and still in date and as of Monday I will be SS. I am just thinking of how I felt the 1st time round and need support. I am excited yet scared at the same time. I am scared about the dizziness and feeling sick again. I have a target to loose 2st by the end of May as I am off to a friends wedding in Italy and want feel nice in a dress.

I have recently tried to do WW with hubby but its not working for me. I cannot stick to my points and found my self cheating at work. I have been secretly eating too, so thought that CD will give me the control I need. Has anyone else felt the same?

Welcome back!

Sometimes it helps to split your CD packs in two and have six mini meals throughout the day for the first week to help balance the blood sugars. Just remember you must make each one up fresh.

Make sure also to drink at least four pints of water plus the water you use to mix your packs.

Take it easy as your body does take time to adjust and if you have cut down on carbs that is a good thing as you will go into ketosis much quicker and the withdrawal effects will not be so harsh.

Going to your friends wedding in Italy is wonderful motivation.

My name is Chris and i am going to start the cambridge diet again in a couple of weeks. Im 20 stone and 25 years old. I went on the diet lastyear and lost 3 stones in 5 weeks wich was very good but put it all again due to holidays etc so im looking forward to losing the weight again because i know how succesful it can be so good luck. Can anyone please tell me how i got about posting a thread on here so i can ask some questions?
