Going it alone

Hi,
I'm Claire and am trying to lose weight have been trying for a while now when i started i was 15st 2lbs i am now 13st 9lbs i don't go to any slimming clubs or gym's as i don't have the time with four children two under five my evenings are taken up with them and my husband works long hours so i decided to change my eating habits and bought an exercise bike it has been a slow process but it is working i think i have lost more inches than pounds as used to be size 18 -20 in trousers and am now a size 14 :D would like to get down to around 10st.
Any hints and tips would be welcomed as i have stayed the same weight now for 2 months and can't seem to shift any more although i haven't put any on either.
 
Hi Claire, i was just wondering are you following any particular diet at all or just cutting down on certain things??

Do you calorie count?

As you lose weight the amount of calories you need decreases so what might have made you lose before now makes you maintain. Search BMR calculator on the web and see if you are eating the right amount.
 
I started by cutting out crisps, biscuits, sweets etc then as i have a four week rolling menu for our main meals (easier with the kids) so as i use the same recipies i worked out the calorie content for them, i also make my own bread although i only usually have 2 slices a day for my lunch and breakfast is usually branflakes or home made banana milkshake if i'm in a rush, hadn't thought of lowering my calories as my weight went down will look into that.
 
It looks from your stats that you're well on your way, size 14 fantastic! I'm sure a slight alteration in diet and a little exercise will kick start you again.
I had to use the new hole on my belt today (3 week weigh in is on Friday) and it felt so great.
