Ok well I have just ordered the 28 samples of the website. Hoping they will come by monday, which is my start date. I've never done anything like this other than slimfast a few years ago. I lost alot of weight with slimming world, but I need some drastic help and I think this will be my answer. I've got 14 weeks to my wedding day. ideally i want to lose about 2 stone. So hope this works for me. Ive heard of some grea losses and thats what I need as a dieter. Ive done the 1 lb here and there for 3 yrs lost 4 stone, put one on and cant get my head back into it. I need to see fast results. I want to walk down the isle, and feel amazing :D
 
My samples arrived today, part of me a little nervous but also sooo excited. I so desperately need this to work. I'm going to do the 3 items per day plus protein. Going to use the milk for teas/coffee's throughout the day with sweetener. Ive brought some fish, chicken. are prawns allowed? not sure. just need to go get the veg and the multi-vitamins for monday. I'm going to see if i can cope with the samples this week and make a note of the ones I like. I must admit I cant really afford this but I'm going to anyway.
I'm hoping to do this for the 12 weeks if needed and that gives me a couple weeks of the refeed programme before the wedding. Then afterwards still try to resist the heavy carbs on honeymoon, and be sensible and keep the weight off.

2 days before start. will weigh In on Monday Morning and have enough packs for 9 days (3 per day) and see how it goes. I know my biggest problem will be trying to drink enough water/liquid. I've always been terrible at this but have brought 4 bottles equalling 2 litres and will drink them with each slim pack and hopefully get some more with teas/coffee's.

last day before slim & save starts. I've worked out what I need for each day and planned the week out as best as I can. me es excitied . whoop :)
 
Well tom is planned out.

I'm having a vanilla shake for breakfast
veg soup for lunch
cottage for dinner with cauliflower and broccolli
and a choc praline bar for supper

100ml of skimmed milk, has been measured out for teas/coffees

I have peppermint and green teas stashed in the cupboard

and 4 bottles of 500ml of water in the fridge to have with every slim & save meal .

I will Weigh In in the morning on my Wii Fit and just hope from there

Morning hun, good luck with your s&s journey, i did it this year for 10 weeks, and im back again now, feeling very nervous eeek lol

Exciting stuff about your wedding, you can definatly do this!!! Great to see u planning ahead too!

Thanks everyone. Day 1:

I've had the vanilla shake (found it a little bit watery for my liking) but then I hate the taste of water lol
I changed my mind and had the mushroom pasta instead. The powdery taste is noticable. but it was very tastey.

I'm guessing you get used to it, they were very tastey so far though. so, so far so good!

now i have to force down 2nd bottle of water. next time i will get the flavours from the website me thinks :D
 
Man am I looking forward to dinner , and my veg haha. first day. must say am a little peckish haha. Didnt realise quite how small the meals are :)

Day 2
Fancied porridge today , really don't know how to feel about it. I'm a tad bit scared by it and but was kinda edible. I added sweetener and cinnamon, made it a bit better. Texture is nice, it's how I like porridge. not too thick. But the weirdest aftertaste!!!!!! I have a oatmeal left to try, glad I only have one of everything to try and no doubles. Tempted to try oatmeal as a cookie next time.

It's 10:00 am and I'm missing my morning fruit :( but other than that I'm ok. Really hate taste of water, it makes me gag if have too much at once. But I told myself I couldn't have my bar last light until i finished my last bottle of water haha . It worked! Trying to have only 2 coffee's per day. one in morning and one in afternoon. I'm looking forward to adding water flavours to next purchase already :D

Off to work now :)

just had the choc cereal shake, forgot I could use milk, so used all water. still tasted really yummy. reminds me of rice crispies. mmmmmmm must get more!!! :)

does it matter that didn't use the milk? not sure, will still stick to 100ml semi for drinks today me thinks in case. really scared of messing up and not getting into ketosis and it taking longer :S

You don't Hav to have ur milk allowance, I don't have it, I also make my crispy cereal shakes with water :)

Milk is upto you hun, same with veg allowance

Don't torture yourself with limited coffee LOL I wouldn't last the day without 5-6 cups!!

ahhh this evening was really hard . Can't wait to go sleep so can stop feeling so hungry and stop constantly thinking about food . It helps to know it gets easier in ketosis . Good night everyone . Well done all for persevering another day :)

Don't think my fiance is gonna like it :eek:

Had the cafe latte this morning - my was that sooooo tastey ( im a starbucks frappachino fan and this is sooo good as a fix)

Not that hungry today, but then not unhungry just feel nonchelant about it if u know what I mean?

Noticed how much easier it is to drink the water today too. I just downed a litre and didn't even think about it. and I hate water lol. I'm quite suprised!

Seems like I may be notified soon. Have brushed and scraped my mouth so many times today. haha . I hope it don't last

I split my bar in 2 today so could have half this afternoon and half tonight after dinner. can I do that?
I have some lettuce so might have the chilli in it and a bit of brocolli.

I had the thai soup for lunch and it was really tastey . Really pleased so far with the food :D
