    Sticky I will succeed!!!

My WI is Tuesday but have not got around to posting this yet lol.

We had a taster session, my first ever one (I was away for the last one) and it was awesome! Everyone made so much effort - there were 10 slow cookers there, each with a gorgeous main dish in. Lots of sides like bean salads and stuffed tomatoes, and about 9 deserts (I made the Mississippi Mud Pie from Comfort Foods book).

I wanted to say that the new mag was a lot of the inspiration for meals and they were by far the yummiest!

The spicey cauliflower was devine as was the white choc mousse and the trifle. The stuffed tomatoes were good too. I highly recommend trying these! The trifle didn't taste diety and without knowing you'd never have known! She used damson gam and port to replace the other alternatives though.

Also, my recipe needed tweaking. Everyone loved it so if anyone makes it, double the ginger nuts and butter for the base as the recipe amount wasn't enough. It added 1.5 syns to each serving (using what I did anyway).

It's page 120 of the Comfort Food book.

It was a really inspiring group this week food wise and I left feeling happy (and full) lol.

I've made the mud pie a couple of times and I always double the base mixture as it's wafer thin otherwise!!

comfort foods is my fave book!
