Had a giggle at work yesterday,,,

Me and two older ladies were talking abuot hot flashes, as you do...lol....

I was saying how I went through all that very early due to a pre-men hysterectomy, and that hot flashes were my worst symptom and how much I had hated them, and suffered with them.

She is a larger lady, and she said, "Well, I always suffer from them too, but I always put it down to be overwight -" and then she looked me up and down and said "but obviously weight does not come in to it!"

If ONLY she knew!!!!

I love being somewhere where NO ONE knows my history!!!! LOL

I have not decided yet FoxTrot. I am rather being perceived as always being normal. I suppose at one point I will tell them, as I am not very good at being mysterious.....as if you haven't figured that out already!

But for now, its nice just being known as Jan. Not Jan that was one FAT Jan.

i was chatting to someone the other day at work who has only been with us a few weeks and she was amazed when i said i'd lost nearly 4 stone. she said she couldn't imagine i had ever looked any different.

it was a lovely feeling, i know where you are coming from
