had a slip up *food talk*

Well day 1 and 2 i managed to stay on my 4 food packs.
day 3 i had my food packs but in the evening i was so hungry that i was in pain and moody.
i ended up having some carrot and cucumber sticks.
after i felt so much better and i woke up feeling better.
i know i did wrong as i ate "outside food", but will that little bit of carrot and cucumber affect my weight loss? I figured it would be best to have these foods as they are 80% water anyway! But I would like to know if you guys had done this and did it affect your weight loss?

Well carrots are the worst foods you can have when on LL because they being root vegetables will def kick you out of ketosis. It will slow the weight loss down because you now have to go through the same process all over again :(
Thinking 'oh that little bit of food is not going to make that much difference' is dangerous because you're not only making it more difficult for yourself but you also falling into that crooked thinking pattern trying to justify your actions and make excuses.
Talk to your LLC about your lapse and try and get back on track. Honestly the first week is by far the worst. Once you get through that I promise you will be fine!

On a positive note, I am on the Lite version (which i know isn't quite the same) and we are allowed carrots. So far, according to the ketostix, I am in ketosis. I will keep my fingers crossed that it hasn't caused any set backs.

Magic is right though, the weird ways we try to justify things and convince ourselves its OK can be very damaging!

Your LLC should be able to help you get back on track, but if you are still really struggling after a few weeks, maybe you could try Lite. The cut off is BMI 30 so you should be "allowed"!!
