Hi all!
I have been lurking around this forum for a while. First doing slimming world, then weight watchers!
I started following Atkins 2 weeks ago (it'll be 2 weeks end of this week!) I have lost 9lbs so far and feel great! I have stuck to it religiously and drank loads of water....until last night!
Yesterday my boyfriend of 7 years proposed to me! (i said yes!) Then came our friends with cupcakes, champagne and other Atkins no no's! I tried my best not to over do it, but didn't want to look ungrateful either!
My question is, if up until yesterday I have been following the plan fully and am back on it this morning, have I blown it? Will my body still be in ketosis or, will it take a day or two? I don't want that horrid head ache again!
(That is all I kept thinking about whilst having my one glass of champagne, one velvet cupcake and half an after eight choc!)
I went to bed happy after the proposal, but felt the rubbish food wasn't worth it and remembered how good I felt looking down at the scales last week.
