Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum business but thought I would give it a go seems there are so many people on here that are in the same position of trying to lose weight :)

Started Slimming World the end of March 2012 this is now my 7th week and have lost 13lb so far.

Some days I find it hard to stick to plan word for word I try my best to stick to it but with my two kiddies its hard not to pick at foods that I shouldnt .

I am still writing a food diary for my syns, without writing my syns down I lose track completly and end up going over which caused me to have a 3.5lb weight gain two weeks ago. Was so annoyed with myself and not sure how exactly I put on that much weight but never mind I went on to losing weight the following week.

Does anyone have extra tips that speed things along a bit?

I have just bought Jullian Michaels dvd 30 day shred and ouch my body was aching yesterday :( but I plan to do it again today which I know will be more pain tomorrow, from a couch potatoe to doing exercise daily is a big step for me.

I would love to go to the gym but find it hard to go alone I feel like everyone is watching me :( Has anyone got exercise tips that they find work?

Sorry for the long post and I hope to hear from you soon :D

Hi Nina,

Congratulations for your weight loss so far.

I am new hear to , and I like you I would like to speed things up, but our bodies have a way of working, but I am sure if you stick to the plan if will work for you .

As for the gym, just go and do it. The gym I go to apart from the gym instructors, who always made me feel welcomed, everyone else seems to be in their own little world, of striving to a fitter body. Wear the right clothing or what you feel comfortable in and just go and do it for yourself. I am off for a spinning class, followed by some weights in the gym. Take your own music I find that helps, or ear phones to watch the tv on the bike, or walk machine. I find the music really helps and I forget what I am doing, and get carried away with how times I have lifted that weight:)

Goof luck with your weight loss.

Annette
