Hello - I've been here before

    Hello,

    I've tried so many diets before that I really hope that this one is the right one for me. I decided to give Slim and Save a try and if that doesn't work, I really don't know what to do.
    I've gained weight since I first signed up for this Forum in 2010 and even then I had a lot to lose, so now it's even more, 10 stone in total.

    I will be starting on Monday and am hoping to achieve my goal within this year. I need all the support I can get. I need to lose weight to be able to try and start a family with my OH.

    So here's hoping for the best - again... :eek:

    Good Luck with your journey, your goal weight looks very low although I see that it would give you a healthy bmi it is at the low end of the healthy range, I just wonder if that is going to feel like a really hard slog. But then even at my goal I am still overweight cos I figured that was better than the morbidely obese I started at xx

    Hi Lexie. Yeah, I've seen that the BMI at my Goal weight seems low. I might have made a mistake converting kg into stone, I am not reallt used to stones and lbs.... I've set my goal weight with my GP. She is monitoring me as well while I am doing the diet. I'm glad she is so supportive.
    I will set mini goals as well this weekend before starting on monday to keep me motivted.

    You should write down your motivation for losing weight and stick it on your fridge door, desk at work, write it down on your phone, etc. so that way, wherever you are and whatever you're doing, you have a little reminder that the moments where it's difficult are all for a really awesome reason.

    Hi chezz, It's going good so far. Lost 8.4lbs in my first week, so am quite positive now and have a reason to resist temptation :)
