Hello All,

I was on here a few weeks ago enquiring about the diet and am pleased to say that I started on Monday have done really well got on the scales this morning and had lost 4 pounds in 2 days so all great. :)

Today had my shake and glass of water then went into a meeting all morning so did not drink then walked to the shops with my boss who asked me what I wanted for lunch!! I did not know really so just had a roast chiken leg from M&S. I have also just had another shake with a glass of water to keep my vitamins up.

My question is will this have taken me out of Ketosis as I think I was getting into it today.

Ignore whether it has taken you out of ketosis, assuming you were in it yet anyway! The important thing is that it hasn't knocked your resolve. You need to really concentrate the rest of today and the next few days on sticking 100% with the diet. I found concentrating almost obsessively on the water intake really helped. Be nice to yourself too. Remind yourself constantly how special you are and what a great thing you are doing.

Try to forget the chicken leg apart from preparing yourself some strategies for dealing with similar situations again.

Willing you to be 100% now for the rest of the week and beyond. It really is the only way (certainly the easiest way) to do this diet.

Hi Dizzy,

Thanks for the advice I can't believe I cracked so easily but I felt a bit embarressed to tell my boss.

I don't even feel hungry at all today so did not do it out of hunger, I have drunk loads of water since so will hopefully flush it away!

By the way how do I put one of those tickers on my email?

Kind regards
