I skipped this forum thinking it was for people who had lost 100 pounds. Just skimmed and seen its for people with 100+ to lose.

Well, I started the year at 330 pounds. I have a vague idea of wanting to get to 189 pounds. So I have a target loss of 141 pounds. If when I get there, I still have more to go, I'll carry on but if I get near it and feel I am where I want to be, I'll stop early.

I have so far lost 67.5 pounds this year and expect to finish the year having lost 100 pounds.

I'm doing LL as I knew that doing it myself, or even Slimming World, wasn't going to get me there at all.

    take care,
    Andy

Never got a reply t this, but that is ok - 5 months later, I am at 13st, having lost 148lbs in total.

Just posting, so that people reading and feeling like it's an impossible journey, can see that it is not an impossible journey. It is a damned hard one, but there are ways and means for each of us.

Good luck to anyone reading this, whi is still at that end of the journey.

Oh Andy sorry to have missed your post back in October, been so self obsessed with my own issues. You have done so fabulously well. 148lbs is amazing. You must be so proud of yourself.

Yeah I've lost 152lbs in 13 months :) (6 of those months on lighter life)

I started rtm a week and a half ago and so far it's going very well. I still feel strange - yesterday looking at myself in a mirror and realizing that apart from toning up I really am slim now :)

What did you do in the months before LL? They say it can take a while for your mind to catch up with your body.:)

Aww you guys *blushes* - I didn't want anyone to feel bad for not having said hello!

    Love you too Taz!

I lost the first 37lbs in 6.5 months before I started LL. 21 of those in a month, when someone broke my heart and I stopped eating for a while, and then next 16 doing Slimming world.

:) Good luck everyone who is tyring to lose weight :)
