It may be worth talking to your lighterlife counsellor, not sure it would be a good thing cos if your mum is in the same group, group counselling could be tricky!! It maybe that your mum could do it but in a different group, so you could share the experience but still make it an individual journey... just a thought :)

Good luck with your lighter life journey... and I hope you find a solution with your mum :)

As Mustdoit has said, they won't let family members be in the same group - two friends of mine (sisters) did the diet at the same time, but had to go to different groups - one in Braintree, the other in Chelmsford.

Yeah, it'd be so uncomfortable when you start talking about parent messages and ego states... :eek:
