I joined SW last year and after a few months of poor results (8lb loss) I gave up! I did EE for the majority of time and I know they say you do not need to weigh portions. I was convinced my slow weight loss was due to not measuring carbs like pasta and rice and that I was eating too much however my Leader was adamant this would not be the case. I still have my books so am able to do this myself, how much loss did you have on SW and was it slow? Are red days better than EE? Any help would be appreciated. I need to lose 4 stones and I am getting so depressed now that I really must do something about it. My ideal loss is 2lb a week (I appreciate this won't always be the case!). xx

You dont need to weigh your portions as long as you fill every meal with 1/3 superfree and only eat until you're satisfied, rather than just for the sake of eating.

All the plans work but different ones work better for different people, depending on what kind of food they like and their lifestyle. I prefer Green days myself as I like my extra HEXes and dont eat much meat, but other people prefer the flexibility of EE and some people like Red because they like meat and feel bloated eating lost of carbs. Its totally up to you what you follow but it does work if you stick to it. :) If you post a diary on here people can help if they can see where you might be going wrong :)

Depends on the person. My average is now barely over 0.5lb a week, but still I struggle on cos I know I'll get there in the end. I find I gain if I only did straight EE, try mixing in some red and green.

Think posting a diary and being honest is a good idea sometimes ppl think they are 100% but not! No you don't have to weigh but of course if you are eating to excess then you won't lose as much... I have always loss but tend to be to busy these days to eat when I'm bored just because it's a free food! EE I think you need realise the idea of it as I know some ppl say they have fruit after and that's their super free??? Totally confuses me why ppl think that's ok?? Anyway ... If you enjoy the plan and you are still loosing it not all bad ;)
