Extra Easy Help slimming world best ever recipes book

I brought a book from wh smiths best ever recipes but it only tells you the syn value for original and green. I'm doing extra these are not the same syn values as original are they? I'm confused I don't want to start cooking and mess it up xx

You would be best to work it out from the ingredient list for two reasons. Firstly this is an old book and some syn values may have changed. Secondly, going for the lower of the two values does not always work. For instance take spag bol. On green the spaghetti would be free and the meat synned. On red the meat would be free and spaghetti synned. But on EE both the spaghetti and the meat are free so taking the lower of the two (which is this case would be the green) would not be accurate
