    Hi everyone,
    I'm new to lighter life lite so just thought I'd introduce myself as I've been on a VLCD before and found the forums very helpful. Hope everyone is doin great with the LLL programme. I was on a Total food replacement diet called Lipotrim for a few weeks and then switched to LLL and ever since I've not been able to stick to it at all! I seem to have got into a vicious circle and can't seem to get motivated to start properley, feel like I've lost sight of why I want to do this diet in a way but then again my weight is the thing that always makes me miserable! I was meant to 'start again' last tuesday and I've come to the end of my teather now lol so I'm DEFINATELY starting tomoro before my weigh in next tuesday! Just wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom to spur me on and get me started? Also, how quick has everyone found the weight loss on LLL?

    Hi Louise,

    sorry to hear that you are struggling. I am actually doing the normal LL programme as I do have a lot of weight to loose. I find that if I write things down that helps motivate me. Also looking at those horrible pictures of me when I was at my biggest is another.

    I really think that you need to be in the right mindset to do otherwise you will fail.

    Have a read of the stories on the January starters thread. Most people have been doing it for at most 5 weeks and the changes that you will see and read are amazing.

    You are right, we are all here for support so that what you'll get.

    Hi Louise,

    I've just finished LL, and the things that kept me going were:

    1) I only need to do it once in my life, and I can be like a 'normal' person
    2) I have seen other people lose loads of weight, and I remind myself that I can do it too
    3) it is very very quick if I stick to the rules, and get it out of the way so I can get on with my life...
    5) LL for me is about learning to be 'normal' around food so that i never need to do it again...
    6) Its a short flash of time compared to the rest of my life, so just stick to it, and get it over with so I can get on with my life...
    7) I will be healthy and well into old age
    8) I can do it because I am not ruled by food - I am in control...

    This is what kept me going, it may help you...

    thanks guys, thats a big help, I'm going to get on the case tomoro so hopefully I'll lose some weight and be in ketosis by tuesday!x x
