Hi,
You've prob all heard this a thousand times before but, i have tried everydiet under the sun and am thinking about starting the WW diet, i have attemped this before but it was a half hearted attempt.

This time is differnt, I still want to lose weight obviously but this time im not hooked up on the length of time it will take and expect immeadiate results. Admitedly im not confident or paticually happy with my body but iv come to realise (after years of being silly about it) that this is my body, i did this too it and it will not change over night. So, for the minute im plodding along nicely not feeling sorry for myself anymore, and this has led me to want to lose weight happily without it being the centre of my world and the ONLY thing i think about.

I was just really wondering, before i went off on that rant, how people find this diet? and how much weight people have lost so far and how that has changed them as a person (apart from being smaller obviously!)

Thank you :)

xx

Hi
I find wwers fits in really well with family eating & i am enjoying doing it I have had some weeks where I haven't followed it & not had any losses and also a couple of gains but when followed I am having losses of about 2lb a week the 1st few weeks i lost more
But we all know the weight took time to go on so it's going to take time to get it off again I am also in this for the long haul
I don't think losing weight can change a person as such but can give you more confidence so in that light yes but we are who we are big or small
Good luck with your ww journey

hello and welcome, ive lost 19lbs so far, havent always found it easy but think ive been on and off it all year as i wasnt quite ready to commit myself 100% and i feel like i am now. been back on track 6 weeks and feeling good about the diet. i also think it works well with family life and if your good at saving points can easily be fitted into socialising :)

goodluck :)
