Hi There

Hi everyone. I'm Kate and I live in Manchester. I'm three weeks into slimming world and have lost 4 1/2 pounds so far. My third weigh in is tonight. I'm doing it with my 13 year old son. Is anyone else here doing slimming world with a child and do you have any tips on how to create interesting things for him to eat.

Id say try getting him to help with the cooking and taking an interest in it, maybe try making low fat turkey burgers(turkey mince) with onion and carrot and youd need some breadcrumbs in them and a bit of egg to bind them in them if he really loves burgers is the only thing i can think of, of the top of my head lol hope it helps

Good to see mother and son bonding with common goal. Just to teach him healthy eating/cooking and looking after himself would be excellent learning for life. Make it fun for him and not too intense. Celebrate success for both of you and just enjoy :) Well done so far
