Does anybody have any good recipes for low calorie chinese food? I'm a pretty good cook and more than capable of making something far more delicious and healthy than the takeaway, once I know where to start. Craving a chinese sooo much!!

How about Diet Coke Chicken? I'm not sure about the calorie content but it's an old Slimming World recipe. You brown diced chicken, then add a can of diet coke, 2 tablespoons of chinese glaze and a clove of garlic crushed. Keep on a high heat and stir until it goes sticky, takes the edge off my chinese cravings everytime!

I just used coke and chinese 5 spice, and it looked nice but I fancied it a bit stickier, so I added a couple of spoonfuls of sweet chilli sauce (between 3 people) and it was delicious. I've not seen any chinese glaze, but I'm due a trip to chinatown soon!

I get mine from a little herb shop in Newport South Wales so I don't think you can get it where you are :(
It's one of my favourite meals ever!
