How does a diet qualify for VLCD

    Just a bit bored and was sitting here wondering how a diet actually qualified for being VLCD as opposed to LCD.

    i think under a 1000 cals is a VLCD

    Ah I see thats ok then that must be why slimfast had to change to include snacks and a higher cal main meal as they was probably just on the borders and they probably didnt want that

    A vlcd is a diet which is under 800 cals - according to government guidelines.
