Very Low Calorie Diets

This Very Low Calorie Diet Forum is intended for those doing a food replacement diet. Homemade or Do It Yourself VLCDs are not allowed on MiniMins. If one of these diets proves popular on this forum and by demand we will create a forum specially for it.

To avoid confusion those on Calorie Counting or Low Carbing please use one of these forums already set up which can be accessed on the front page. If you need any directions or help please ask.

As with any diet and advice please consult your own doctor or health care professional.

Howard's Way

Howard’s Way is a meal replacement diet using their own specially developed range of very low calorie diet food which meets all your nutritional requirements.

Used as a Total Food Replacement (TFR), it helps you move into a state of mild dietary ‘ketosis’* after the initial 3-4 days, so obtaining optimum weight loss and (almost as good!) suppresses your hunger naturally! (* Ketosis is when your body converts your fat into energy)

Howard’s Way is not available ‘off the shelf’ from any other company.

Shake That Weight

A vlcd with 3 shakes and a low fat / low carbohydrate evening meal. Shakes are taken for breakfast, lunch and mid afternoon typically. Calorie intake should be no lower than 600 but it is recommended to keep it between 800-1000 daily.
