How to make the perfect slim fast!

    I make up my Slim Fast in a blender with 150ml skimmed milk and 150ml water. If I'm making a caramel or chocolate one, (sometimes I do one of each) I add a heaped teaspoon of coffee (dissolved works best). Douwe Egberts or beanies flavoured coffees are good to experiment with. I add about 6 ice cubes and the magic ingredient, a quarter teaspoon of xanthan gum. This helps thicken the mixture and stops it from separating, you get a really lovely texture with it. You can find it in either the gluten free aisle or the baking aisle. Enjoy!

    Yeh I use 100ml less milk that you're supposed to so it works out about 195 calories instead of 230 x

    I use 200ml unsweetened almond milk, one banana and one scoop of chocolate flavour powder! Tastes just like milkshake and makes the whole diet much more bareable!

    I just started today mixing 300ml alpro soya hazelnut milk & 1 scoop of each chocolate & banana.

    It was delishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

    Love the sound of your mix tho as I love my coffee too.

    Ive been on slim fast / ultra slim for a few days now, i have to ultra slim smoothies for breakfast mix the sachet with orange juice i always add a handfull of ice and blend with a hand blender, Lunch time i tend to have a slim fast shake blended with ice to thicken it up and make it a bit like a mcdonalds milk shake lol x

    Yeah, it's like a caramel chocolate shake but without the calorie overload!
