i went to my pharmasit yesterday he was a differant one to my usual and seemed to know a bit more, but i stood on the scales and had lost 7ib on my 4th week i was amazed. He said i should expect to lose 3 kg every week!. looking at everyone elses weight losses he must mean lb s not kgs surely.

Certainly the science says only 3lbs a week, not 3kg, but that's calculated on the assumption that your body 'needs' 2000 cals a day to maintain, and sometimes people need more if they are very active or even just by being so much heavier, and so our weight loss is bigger. Great loss though, well done!!

I agree that 3kgs a week sounds too much - on the Lipotrim blurb, it says around 1 stone a month for women, and around 1½ stone a month for men, so even for a man, the average should only be around 2.5kgs a week to reach the 1½ stone a month!
