I have sooooo screwed up today, for pity sake:-(

I am in a p'd off mood:mad::cry:

Im only a week and a bit in, and even after a good first loss, I then gained 3 lb's for no reason:confused::confused::confused:

I, in a really and I mean really fed up mood, drunk 35ml of vodka ( other emotional issues leading to it:(:() and diet lemonade, eaten a good handful of quaver type crisps, 6 olives and the equalivent of a whole twix:(:mad::cry: and then took double my xenical knowing I would be punished.

Why why why, Im so blo*dy stupid:cry:

I seem to do this often when I don't lose or gain a bit:cry::mad::(:cry:

I need, more than need to lose alot and fast,( about 4 lb's a week) that is why I am doing low fat + xenical + very low carb,:eek:l:sigh::sigh::sigh: I need to keep in ketosis, but it's hard.

Others seem to be able to do it, why cant I for pity sake:confused::(

But you're 2nd weigh in was not a week later, you posted earlier that you weighed yourself 2 days after you're first weigh in, so now for the 3rd time today I'm going to tell you to weigh in weekly and try your hardest NOT to go on the scales everyday. Weighing yourself every day can have such negative emotional effects, as our weight fluctuates daily due to fluid retention, hormones, time of the month etc. By weighing yourself daily you're setting yourself up for potential feeling of failure and thus self sabotage. Trust me, I speak from experience, we all do.
By also doing low fat, low carb and Xenical ( and correct me if I'm wrong but are you also not having between 800-100 cals too??) I really feel you're putting far, far too much pressure on yourself. A realistic weight loss goal while on Xenical is 2lbs a week. Not only is a that a healthy weight loss, but its a sustainable one.
I'm actually really worried about you :(

I agree with ali ^^^ Only weigh yourself once a week because weight can go up and down in between weigh ins. I used to weigh myself every day but sometimes the scales would show a gain and I'd be a little annoyed so I decided to just stick to a weekly weigh in and that's it.
You sound like you're being really hard on your self when there is no need to be. We all have down days and weeks when we gain or stay the same,you just have to keep your chin up and carry on with the hard work and you will see results.
And again....only weigh once a week otherwise you're gonna keep upsetting yourself coz you think you're doing badly when really you're not.

I am also really worried about you. Your post sounds as though you are having issues around eating disorders, and using the xenical to 'purge' the bad food as you see it out of your system which is a tendancy for bulimia.

It actually sounds like you need some more specialist help as by trying to do low fat low carb low calorie you are going to missing out on huge amounts of the nutrients that your body needs just to survive.

Please think about what you are doing

Maybe you are bingeing because your body is making you eat, it isn't getting enough otherwise? Double Xenical isn't going to do any more for you than just taking one by the way. Realistically you lost 5lbs in your first week which is great, losing 4lbs a week just isn't a realistic target to set yourself so you will have a constant feeling of failure unless you set realistic goals. The weight didn't go on overnight, it isn't coming off overnight either, despite what we all might wish. Be good to yourself and your body and you will see the results over time.

I agree...VLCDs are only safe because you get all the nutrients you need in the carefully controlled food packs that they provide for you.
Trying to do a very low calorie diet, in addition to low carb and Xenical sounds like far too much for your body to cope with. And you can't be sure that you're getting all the nutrients you need. I know we all want this weight gone tomorrow, but I do worry that what you're doing might put your health in danger.
I also find that my binges and cravings tend to be worse when I'm eating very little, often leading to a big blow-out that puts me back where I started. This isn't a good cycle to get into, physically or emotionally.

One last thing - please don't take double your dose of Xenical for any reason. If you forget to take a tablet, and it's more than an hour since you ate your meal, then just skip it. Don't use the tablets as a way of getting rid of extra fat that you've eaten, or as a way of punishing yourself. It's really not safe.

I hope you take these posts in the way they're intended. Nobody wants to lecture, we're just worried about you.

It sounds like you are setting yourself up for failure there hun. It reads like your doing 3 different diets at once...

Which you will never be able to maintain or re-train your body and mind to live like.

It sounds like the problems you have with your weight are probably like mine alot more to do with my emotional state than actual problems with food.

when your losing weight sometimes you can lose it 1 week then then 1 week you may gain a bit , its normal and everyone does it from time to time, i feel like giving up but i tell myself this will be the last time i need to diet ! having double dose of xenical isn't going to make you lose even more weight just give u more side effects bad tummy etc) also if u have a bad day dont worry hun we all have been there, just cos one day you might be naughty doesn't mean u have to give up on your diet, just be very good the next day and carry on with your low fat foods. just imagine all the gorgeous dresses you will be able to buy yourself in 6 months good luck with your weight loss :)
