I was clearing out my spare room today and I found my poetry book from a number of years ago. I was reading this one that I wrote on 26/11/1997. I just wanted to share it cos when I wrote it I didn't think much of it but reading it now it seemed poignant.

Living Life

Stop Running
Stand still
Look around you
Think and feel

Clarity of vision
Knowing who cares
For every moment
Feel glad you are there

Look to the future
Live for the day
Don't regret a moment
Have hope and faith

Life is not simple
Sometimes you are scared
But think of tomorrow
And hang on in there.

That's what I thought when I read it Lady, it felt like I'd wrote it for this time in my life but I hadn't. I was struggling when I wrote it with chronic fatigue syndrome and my poetry helped me stay positive... I guess life is a struggle so the poem travels time well
