Of course you can add your surplus water used in the milkshakes to go towards your water quota.

The minimum water intake on a vlcd is 4 pints plus what you use to mix your milkshakes.

I like to make my own milkshakes very watery especially the soups and tetras.

I use tons of water and ice in my shakes and I also drink about 3 litres of water on top of that...It all helps and seeing a large drink infront of me makes me think it's going to be filling.....Can't get on with the briks they just don't look much and taste too strong....

I will admit to never drinking plain water. I do however have more than the minimum amount of water, I just have it hot with sweeteners and with a dash of chocolate carton in it. if I was drinking water on it's own I'd be hard pressed to drink four pints in a day. I just hate it that much. And seeing as all pointers say I'm not dehydrated, it must be OK. I've had two pints already today. It wouldn't have happened if it was plain water.

ah thats good to know.

am definatly drinking above the aount by having these huge cups and splitting the packs more.
