I looked up the syns value for my lunch before. In the book it has a syn value of 1, yet the website says its free.

    Which one do I use?

The website would probably be more up to date. How old are your books?

The website. The book is only as current as the day it was printed :)

Savoury Rice - Golden Vegetable. Its the one you put in the microwave with some water. Put a tin of tuna in it after cooking and have it over 2 days.

The book was saying that all varieties of the savoury rice were 1 syn, but the website said the Tesco Chicken one is 1 syn while the golden veg one is free.

Which book are you talking about? the food optimising book you get when you join or the syn directory?

If its the food optimising book then it shows average values - some savoury rices have syns, others are free. Its the same with fruit yoghurts - the book says they have a syn but many are actually free, so always go with the website.

Sorry for the delay in responding, was out last night. Not good. Its all in my other thread.

The book is the food optimising book, thanks for the heads up about it being an averages book. Will always double check with the website in future.
