im back on CD and SS

Well after having a week in Scotland and being on Step 2.. Im glad to be back on SS.. Ive put 2lb on this week which to say ive eaten quite a lot of normal food thats pretty good going.. here we go again now :)
 
Hi Scooby

How did you get on in Scotland in general (albeit you put 2lbs on) - what sort of things were you eating/drinking? How well did you manage to keep to step 2? I'm thinking of moving from step 1 ss+ to that next week so be interested to hear...

I have to say it was the hardest thing ive come across on this diet so far.. We were staying with my Aunty and she knew I was on this diet, but i felt uncomfortable making my shakes cos i was thinking that they was feeling guilty about her and mum eating when I wasnt.. I think the main thing why I found it so hard and didnt stick to it was because I wasnt in a routine.

In the end I ended up only having 1 or 2 shakes a day, but eating proper food rest of time.. and had quite a few carbs.. BUT didnt go over board.. my downfall is puddings and cakes etc.. and i think out of the full 5 days.. i think i had about 4/5 sweet type things.. scone, piece of cake and a scoop of ice cream.. but had sandwiches, chips and pasta and salad a couple of the nights.. I think of the days I had a shake for breakfast, then a chargrilled chicken burger n chips for lunch with a diet coke/pepsi then a scone late afternoon and sandwich for tea.. I can definitely say though everything I had i made sure I enjoyed it..

I can definitely say Im much happier now Im back on SS and I think when I do step up next I need to be at home and not be away so I keep a routine but for now SS it is :)
