Can I ask what a 'Sticky' means.....

I have seen the thread's above, but I have no idea why they are called sticky's.

Could someone enlighten me please.

means they stay at the top of the board,they wont slip down with all the other threads,in other words makes it easy for you find

Its where a thread is made and stuck at the top of the forum by a moderator for reference etc.
