Almost exactly. You might want to add a pinch of salt/pepper... but that'd be it!

I also just tried the Uncle Ben's rice pot things.. I got the mexican chilli one. Yummilicious, annnnnnd... only 1.5syns!!!

The sweet and sour one is free and really nice. Pricey though.,am going to try the diet fanta sweet and sour recipe.
 
Yep that uncle bens sweet & sour is really nice! I LOVE the diet fanta sweet & sour though. That's on the menu here for tomorrow night & i'm really looking forward to it!

I use
2 chicken breast chopped up
1 small onion
1 can diet orange
3 tbsp passata
vegetable stock cube
1 tsp vinegar
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1 pepper
fresh pineapple pieces

Just lightly cook the chicken until it seals along with the onions. Add all the rest of the ingredients (except for the pineapple) & let it bubble for about 25 mins. Add the pineapple about 5 mins from the end.

Enjoy! :D
 
No I just crumble it on top of the chicken, etc. It dissolves itself in the cooking.
 
Hi all!!
I'm a newbie Dublin member! Bit nervous about my wi on Tuesday evening because I think my carb portions in my evening meals are way too big, although I have had the third super free with each meal despite the size-we'll see what the scales say and I'll adjust the portion sizes slowly over next few weeks!
I have half my body weight to lose-10stone-so I'd really appreciate all the support you give each other!!
My reasons for losing the weight now are many ... But in recent weeks I have broken the loo seat and not fit in car seat belts-so this has to change-I'm finally mentally ready it seems!!
Long term goal is to not turn 30 next year overweight ands in a year or to to be able to go wedding dress shopping in normal bridal stores not specialist ones!!

So plenty of carrots on the stick for me (pun intended-I'm addicted to raw carrots)

Looking forward to reading everyones exploits regularly!

Newbie Dublin member!! First week on the plan-my wi is tuesday evening and I'm worried that I won't have lost anything! My evening meal carb portions are still way too large-managing to include a third super free but definitely think I'm having too much pasta etc. have been good for lunch and breakfast all week and using circa 5-10 syncs per day on wholesome meal extras rather than treats-had some snack a jacks as my weekend treats-not craving anything bold so happy with that at the moment. I'll just wait ( with apprehension) to see what Tuesday evening brings-and will spend the next couple of weeks slowly reducing the carb portion size-coming from a place of HUGE unhealthy meals followed by tons of crap so I don't mind this weaning down slowly and healthily!
Have 10 stone to lose-my goal is not to be overweight turning 30 next yr!!

Your stories are inspirational and your tips will be invaluable no doubt!!

Hey Laura,

I'm from Kildare, and my WI is Tuesday evenings as well. I've been on plan since late sept/early oct, and have lost 2 stone so far. I started out with 9 to lose altogether. I weighed in at a whopping 18st at the beginning, and now I'm in the 15s! Yay!
As for your carb portions, don't worry about it, I still eat lots of pasta and potatoes, etc., and still lose. As long as you eat that superfree, you'll fill up on that and the rest of the dinner (small or large) will top you off so you go longer without snacking.
Don't worry about craving naughty things -- our bodies actually need the fats from things like butter and chocolate, as the diet is so low fat. If we don't eat those fats to balance it out, the diet does us no good at all.

Ah you're dead right Laura. It can be a bit frustrating when others in group are losing a fair bit each week while I lose 1/2 lb in a month!!
