Oh send me the recipe anyway, ha ha, I can drool & syns it :D

Ordinary quorn ones are a syn each, there are syn-free ones but I've not come accross them yet.

There are two slender choice sausages, the original which are free and the leek and black pepper which have half a syn in each. My consultant recommended that we boil the sausage first and then fry it, does not taste very nice when grilled as they can be quite tough and I followed what she said and I thought they were lovely, obviously not the same as the proper sausage but they did for me, very hard to get but I get them in dunnes stores and the smash I got in a local supervalu store (outside of Athlone)

Thanks a million for your kind words, went out to a friends house this evening and I think it worked, what got me was the fact that I could get fluid retention and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it, just grin and bear it.

Will definitely have a look at the breakdown of the months and put up here, I presume that is a signature rather than profile

I went to Madrid for 5days, put on 4.5lbs eating churros & hot chocolate, overdosed on the stuff, very hard to resist:) Handy getting your visitors to bring food parcels, do they do frylight or similar there?? It's my desert island, couldn't do without product.

Yeah..you see everyone else eating it and think, why not? I've the big shop done now so the heads back down!! Discovered I can buy 6 hard boiled eggs in their shell for 1.15, thought that was very reasonable and so handy for throwing into salads!! I have looked for fry light and the nearest thing I have found is a spray olive oil for salads...suppose it's better than nothing! Bought smoked salmon today and going to have it with scrambled eggs for my breakfast...does anyone else use *********?? The #slimmingworld hash tag is full of inspiration too :)

No their Hodgins Low Fat sausages! The gluten free hodgins have like 6 syns! It's the gluten free mallons that are syn free! Also the slender choice sausages are half a syn each and you can buy them online!

Are they available in Tesco? Although my local Tesco has a shockingly bad selection of food, no quark (had to resort to making my own), no fat free creme fraiche etc.
Is there much syns in the Tesco Light Choices Cottage Cheese?

The Christmas jumper!! Gonna change my avatar to my onesie pic lol <img src="http://www.minimins.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=110590"/>

Jumper is great, I've persuaded hubby that he NEEDS one,off to get him & the kids ones. We're gonna be like the Giswalds at Xmas lol :);)

Love the onesie, you're looking well!!

I got the Gluten Free Mallons in Supervalu, I get Quark etc there too. Although our Consultant has all the local shops badgered into stocking SW friendly stuff,
so it might not be across all the Supervalu stores.

The plain Tesco Light Choices Cottage Cheese is free, some of the flavoured ones have syns.

Just checked the SW app and the natural light choices cottage cheese is free as is onion and chives, grilled pepper pesto, cheese with red pepper and pesto, with piri piri and natural normandy fromage frais are all free too

Exactly badger the shops, they have these products on their lists, just a matter or ordering them, tell them it's for Slimming World & you'll be telling everyone in your group about it,tell other members to ask, that's what I did in Tesco, took awhile but now have access to Slenderchoice sausages :)

Love these, usually fly off the shelf in our Tesco.

I think myself Dunnes Stores is so much better than Tesco, you can get the slender choice sausages and the quark in Dunnes Stores but I don't think you can get either in Tesco. What are the tesco light choices flavoured cottage cheese like, could you put them on something and do they taste the same as quark (I actually like the taste of quark).

Also, for some reason, Supervalu here stocks the quark, fromage frais and cottage cheese in 3 totally separate ends of the store. Didn't notice the quark for ages cos it was in a chiller with bags of salad.

It probably makes sense to the flow of the shop, but janey why not keep it all together in one wee bit of the fridge? Don't make me waddle around looking for it. Unless I can count that as Body Magic?

In Dunnes in our local store they have the quark beside the deli counter and the slender choice sausages are with the regular sausage, the quark is in the cheese section (where it is meant to be) but they do be laughing at me now at this stage as I know exactly where they are now

No real tips, although I feel your pain! I try to keep up my fluids, and stick to plan as normal. It usually passes after a day or so, but if I get painful bloating I take a Rennie Deflatine.
