Is 1/3 of you plate just for EE

Just curious if the 1/3 of your plate is just for the EE plan or do you need to do it for all three plans?? Thanks

The 1/3rd rule applies specifically for Extra Easy and doesn't need to be considered for Red/Green days - however - the more the merrier :)
 
It's a good habit to get into anyway, as all the healthy eating info says so.
BTW it does not need to be loads of different veg, gets blinking expensive otherwise!
 
It's surprising actually, how expensive fresh veg is when you're buying lots of it. Shame that processed food is so much cheaper than fresh.

As was already said, the one-third rule is designed for EE, but it wouldn't hurt if you used it on whatever plan you're on.
 
It does say in the book you should do it on all plans. But its more strictly 'enforced' ;) on EE as you're eating both carbs AND protein freely so you have a greater need to limit your portions.
 
Thanks I do try but I'm just not a big veg fan and am always scared I'm not eating enough lol

I asked the question of SW head office recently.

Its NOT a rule, its a recommendation. You don't HAVE to do it, but you will be more sucessful if you do.

Its also a recommendation applicable to all plans.

Aside from anything else, its just better for you! Lots of vitamins & minerals.
