Hello,
I was pointed towards this forum by my pharmacy consultant so I thought that I’d have a look around to find the answers to my Lipotrim questions. Whilst I’m here I thought it would be a good idea to use the diary section to chart my progress on my Lipotrim journey.
So about me? I’m a 21 year old male working a 12 hour job and have gone from really into shape to really out of shape in the space of a couple of years. I was at my “prime” in college where eating no amount of junk food would affect me due to playing sports etc. all the time. Since I left and got my job I noticed I could afford to eat takeaways or go to restaurants all the time so it just began to pile on me. I think I’ve gained about 40-50lbs in about 2 years and am now really unhappy with my body. I’ve now grown a fear of people seeing me undress and it’s really holding me back going on holiday or starting relationships etc.
I’ve stopped almost all exercise these days as I’m completely wiped out from work every day and have become extremely lazy in all aspects of my life. I currently weigh around 15st 8lbs but because of my 6’ 5” frame people keep telling me “You’re not fat, you don’t need to diet” but this isn’t helpful. I know I am I’m just too lazy to do anything about it - or was anyway. I’d start these healthy eating/fitness diets and about 2 weeks in I’d lost maybe 2lbs with no noticeable physical change and would just give up and go get a Chinese to cheer myself up.
I am an all or nothing type of person so Lipotrim works perfectly for me. Instead of me wandering round supermarkets thinking “is this healthy? ... can I eat this?” I can now simply say “No, James. You can’t have anything.” It’s a tough transition but fits my personality quite well. It’s simple and easy to follow.
I started on Lipotrim on 03/04/13 and by my Saturday weigh in (06/04/13) I’d lost 8lbs. I was delighted, I wanted to quit many times on the first few days seen as I was off work and it was easy to eat but I stuck to it. I’ve stopped weighing myself at home as it puts pressure on me so I hope I’ve continued my progress for my next weigh in.
I began weighing 218lbs and my initial target - which may change if/when I reach it - is 180lbs. I have a few holidays coming up starting late July and I’d love to be in shape for them so I can enjoy myself more. I had a torrid time in Magaluf last Summer with my self-confidence and I’d really like to beat it. I know that if I follow this diet strictly I’m 100% guaranteed to lose the weight I need by my target date. Keeping it off will be the hurdle I’ll have to jump when I get to it.
I don’t think I can post pictures yet to show you my current body and what it used to be but I will do as soon as I reach my post count. I hope this community is as supportive to me as everyone else and can answer any queries I might have.
As a final note, is it normal of me to be absolutely obsessed with food programmes now? I can’t go a day without watching about 5 episodes of Man vs Food. It’s heaven and Hell!
