i think ill follow your recipe (without the breadcrumbs) split the the meat in two and mould into a loaf tin (nigella just did it by hand) add the hard boiled eggs in the middle and cover with the rest of the meat and then some streaky bacon mmmmmmmmm
Food heaven alert - just had chicken pieces fried in mandarin olive oil from Nudo Italia, and it was bellissimo!!
They have this recipe for chocolate mousse with mandarin oil which I'm sure we could modify, replacing the sugar with Splenda - anyone foresee any problems?
The chicken sounds yum Susie. Didn't click on the link as having serious chocolate cravings today and I'm day 8 of cold turkey - almost at breaking point - arrrrgh!
1. Ingredients.
1lb cheap fatty mince beef.
2 medium Onions.
2 Eggs
Fresh Parsley.
Worcester & Ketchup
Loaf Tin
2. Preparation and Cooking.
Finely chop the Onions.
Ditto the parsley.
place into mixing vessel.
Add Eggs
Squeeze of Ketchup
Couple shakes Worcester
season with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix thoroughly.
Place into loaf tin. Cover with baking foil.
Remove foil when 5 minutes left.
Cook for 1 hour at 180.
Remove from Oven.
There should be load of lovely liquid from this. I usually pour it into a pan and reduce it a bit and use it as the gravy.
Turn out onto a serving plate and there you go.
