    Here's something I found while browsing around, reading up on things. I feel there are people who do get hung up on 'measuring' their weight-loss by checking their ketostix as often as possible, however, I would personally encourage you not to. It's not an accurate measurement and definitely fluctuates depending on your food intake, activity, water intake and other physiological states we may not be aware of. Personally I don't bother - as long as I know I'm doing the diet, I know it should work - a deficit of calories is undeniably going to yield fat-loss, even if it doesn't show up straight away (water retention is a real b**ch for some people, like me!).
