That would be typical I'm sure in your mind you were prepared for an early bubba but like you said he/she may even turn up late! And on Christmas Day What a present?! xx

Well Jess about the Ram, they are kept in a different field then moved to the lady sheeps field so that they can become special friends and make baby sheep for next year ...I think they rub noses or something......

Ohh god I really don't want baby to come on Christmas day!!! I don't want to miss the kids getting up to see santa. Plus I have to make the dinner for 7 adults and my kids. I hope it comes soon and then I'll have time to organise Christmas, but if its gonna come late I hope it comes St. Stephans day. I'll just have to wait and see I doubt.

37+3 -- 02/12/2013 -- MONDAY

Well what a day.

Since yesterday I've been having trouble with my hips. They are very sore. I even had a mini nervy break down because it just seemed to be the straw that broke the camels back yesterday. But then I went to bed had a nap and then had a nice long shower so I was happy again after that.

Today hubby took the day off work so we got lots done. We went food shopping after leaving DD off at school. Came home and I popped on a homemade chicken, barley and vegetable soup. We did 3 loads of washing, moved all the kids toys to a different room which is more out of the way so they can mess all they like. So we have our big sitting room back to a nice adult room, all ready for the christmas tree . Got the kitchen cleaned and tidied again.

Down points of the day though, my poor DS has the bug. He has been sick a few times and can't keep anything down, not even fluid. He is shattered and is away off to bed. I hope he isn't sick too much during the night, but I have a bad feeling!! DD is scared she'll get sick so she took herself off to bed at 6p.m and is fast asleep now..she must have needed it. I've scrubbed the carpet upstairs, changed the throw on my sofa and washed the floor were he was sick before he got the hang of throwing up in the bowl. I hope he is better tomorrow and doesn't pass it on.

Tomorrow is scan day for me. Hubby is going to be there and we are taking DS with us if all is well. Looking forward to this one as I've never managed to make it to one this late on in pregnancy so looking forward to seeing the difference.

FOOD TODAY

BREAKFAST
Multivit
Dry slice white bread

LUNCH - SAINSBURYS CAFE
Scrambled egg and bacon
2 slices wholegrain multiseeded bread
Fizzy cranberry juice

DINNER
Homemade chicken, barley and veg soup (loads of veg)
2 slices white bread with real butter

SNACK
Coffee
Warm mince pie - yummy
Mandarin orange.

Hope your little boy gets better soon. It must be horrible seeing them poorly. And hope your hips start behaving themselves!!

I sympathise with the bad hips! My pelvis has been awful today, it makes me feel a lot worse in my head too when the pain is bad. Hopefully a bit of rest will get rid of it!

37+4 -- 03/12/1013 --TUESDAY

Well back from my scan. Everything looks good and baby looks quite content. I've to go back to my doctor next week and for a scan the week after. At the scan they will give me my induction date haha. Who'd have thought I'd be saying them words. Anyway might go have a nap seen as hubby is home.

DS isn't throwing up today but is very tired and not eating, so I'm just giving him and DD plenty of fluids. DD got up at 8p.m last night and threw up all over the hall.....aww well at least it made me mop all the floors in the house lol. Just hoping me and hubby don't get it now!

Oh no sorry to hear the tummy bug is doing the rounds at your house, hopefully it's just a 24hr thing and DD will feel better tomorrow. Poor you having to clean up all the sick (i cannot stand sick...i think i'm going to have a man up about it when baby gets bigger! lol). Fingers crossed you don't get poorly too - plenty of disinfectant and washing of hands.

Glad your scan went well and baby looked nice and content in there, youve obviously created a nice little home for them in there. Glad they are going to sort out an induction date etc.

Yeah my house smells lovely of dettol. I usually have a pretty strong stomach and rarely get sick (unless you count morning sickness) so really hoping I don't catch this.

Oh Laura your poor little ones.. Hope it passes for them both soon.. Sounds like your DS is over the worst of it.. Fingers crossed.. And hopefully your DD gets over it soon enough too...

Mind yourself too and make sure you get plenty of fresh fruit n veg to keep yer immune levels topped up...

Great all went well today.. can't believe you may be talking induction dates.. Considering how things looked to be going early on with the plug going etc.... Great though.. Little baba is cooking away happily... Doing a great job Mammy

Aw your poor kids!! Hopefully it's only a 48 hour thing and you don't catch it. I'm the same as Kim, can't stand sick. And neither can Tom. It's gonna be fun in our house when baby is older!!

Glad your scan went well and hopefully the kids will be shot of the bug soon. I can deal with sick (years of cat owning has kinda made me immune) but I'm not the biggest fan so will see how I cope with baby vom eh?

Hey Jess, sorry I've been so busy so I've only had time to read through a few threads each day and not much else. I'm nesting away and my house is spotless! I can't seem to settle at all. Still don't have my Christmas decorations up but I really do need help to get them from out of the attic so that'll have to wait till hubby has time.

Baby is still sitting tight and doesn't seem interested in moving. I have felt lots of pressure and have cramping on and off but nothing that is progressing. I've a midwife appointment tomorrow but can't see her telling me anything exciting. My sisters are all convinced I'll go tonight because I've just spent the entire day scrubbing the house and baby is a little quieter than normal (still active though). I'm not convinced lol.

How are you getting on? I really hope you are well and forgive me for not commenting too much on threads at the minute, I think I just haven't anything useful to add

38+6 -- 12/12/2013 -- THURSDAY

Sorry girls no go for me yet.

I had my midwife appointment yesterday. Mention to her about the reduced movement and change in movement - baby has always been very active, with lots of big belly moving movements, the last few days its just done a wee bit of rolling over and some slow pushing out. Doctor wasn't happy so sent me to the hospital for a trace. So spent most of yesterday waiting around and having a trace and a scan. Baby is happy enough in there and they were happy to let me go home.

Last night was my second night of tightenings, period type pains in my back and lower abdomine and an increase in discharge. These were all the symptoms I had with my son that labour was starting and he came the next day. But as I've said I had this Tuesday night too and NOTHING. Woken up both mornings without any signs. Both nights I've only managed about 2 hours sleep so I am extemely exhausted!!

Today I had to go back to bed at 12 O'clock, DS was in bed and I just couldn't keep my eyes open. Had to get up at 1p.m though because I'd to collect my daughter at 2p.m from school. I don't think the hour helped though.....think it just made me feel groggy.

I'm really really hoping something happens soon but I still have a pretty strong feeling that this baby is gonna be late. I'm not sure I can take much more of the exhaution though lol.

Hope everyone else is doing well. I am reading other peoples threads but I just can't concentrate enough to formulate an answer to anything at the minute xx

Oh hun.. Big hugs.. Must be very frustrating at this stage.. Especially with being so exhausted and still having to look after the 2 littluns... Hopefully you're left waiting too much longer... xxx
