Lemon Verbena

Just a quick querie...

My husband is a chef and has just brought me home a Lemon Verbena herb plant. It smells beautiful, really lemony.

We were having a chat the other night and he remembered I had said I could have tea as long as it came from a leaf.

He wants to try and make a sort of 'lemonade' from it using the leaf from the plant, some tablet sweetener and some sparkling water.

Do you think this be allowed? Just wondered what people think.

Hi Hun,

Well it sounds lovely but ... here it comes ... I may be wrong here, but are we not supposed to be forgetting about how lovely things can taste? The annoying chap on the DVD kept saying about how we need to let our brain forget 'taste' or something. I am really really new to all of this so what would I know eh?! I'm sure someone who knows more will be along shortly to give you the correct advice.
Anyhow, what a sweet guy you have! Can I have one? hee hee. xxx

See my reply on your other thread - but essentially its worth a go as I made "mint iced tea" from the Mint in the garden last summer and it was a nice change from weeks and weeks of plain water and did not affect my loses.
