Life before frylight

When I first started SW the biggest piece of advice was to go straight to the shop to invest in a bottle of Frylight since it's used so much. And I really don't know what I'd do without it!

But I was just wondering, as I don't think frylights been around for very long(?), how did SW work before frylight was invented?

If I remember correctly in the olden days you would dry fry or add some water so that you kind of boiled onions or mushrooms to get them soft! I have been dieting waaaay too long!!!

frylight has been around at least 10 yrs as i remember my mum using it when i lived at home. be back in a min im off to google it now as i want to know lol
