Looking for Weight Loss Buddies

Congrats on the weight loss.
feeling rotten tonight sinusitis heavy cold , 2 of the kids sick, had all my food planned and cooked couldn't face salmon and salad just had toast this evening. Off to my bed
 
Hope you are all getting on well, still battling the sneezes and headache, as you all know mothers can't get sick so trying to force myself off the sofa to clean up. Time to crack the whip with my teenagers.
 
Hi folks 4lbs off this week so I am very pleased with that. Planning ahead for the week is helping me a lot. I write the plan for the week down and stick it on the fridge.

How are you all doing??

I don't weigh until Monday but I'm having a good week, 100% on plan so far and I've started exercising too so I'm hoping for a good loss :)

I don't usually plan ahead for the week, I do keep a food diary though. That said I have guests over the weekend so I am doing some planning for that to help me stay on track.
 
:) Well done Siobhanh, that's a great loss.

I do try to plan for the week, that way I can adapt a SW version of what the rest of the family are eating on most days.
 
I had 1.5 pounds this week. Another 3 and I get my 7 and a half stone award.
Trying extra hard before WI on Monday.

Going to the Gym regularly now and also recording what I eat in terms of calories so I don't go too mental as I think portion control is coming into play now.

Hey everyoneeeeee :)

Ok, so a little bit about me.
I was last on this website back in 2012, where I went on to lose 8 stone in just 7 months by doing a VLCD :)
I went on to sell my story to an online dieting website, and had so many lovely comments and messages from people.

Life happens, and its now 2 years later.. Unfortunately I gained a little of what I lost, so I'm back and I'm ready to tackle the last little bit
of my journey.. I joined SW last week, got my first official weigh in on Wednesday evenings. Still getting my head around it all atm, as I'm used to VLCDs where its just shakes and products etc, not sure which diet method I prefer if I am honest.

Anyway, would love to make some buddies.

Hi I'm sure your meet loads of lovely people on here. I've tried vlcd but never managed to stick to them so settled on sw as its eating real food and you can still socialise and enjoy life. Good luck in your journey I'm only 2 wks in so only just starting xx
 
Hi and we'll done on your loss so far.

I haven't tried any other diets but sw is more a healthy eating plan that's sustainable once you hit target. Plus you can still have little treats. It's just a way of life and learning how to eat well and healthily.

Start up a diary so we can all cheer you on! X
 
Phoenix girl 7.5 stone wow that's unbelievably fantastic weight loss you must look in the mirror and smile smile smile. I am in awe of anybody who loses this much weight.

I want to lose 5 stone and avoid thinking about the big number and concentrate on the small goals otherwise it's too overwhelming for me.
 
New to here!! need new SW buddies

Hello everyone, thought I would introduce myself on here and hopefully make some SW buddies, so we can support eachother. I am rejoining SW on Wed, determined to get to my ideal weight or just get to the weight I am happy with, get my confidence back up, as its rock bottom at the mo!:(:sigh:

Briefly about myself,
I am 6ft tall, so people say you dont look that heavy....or you dont look like you wear that size..... well... i am and i do... at the moment I am a size 22/24, not sure what my weight is, find out when I rejoin. Last time I lost 5 1/2 stone,but put some of it back on....

Ive got holidays :character00255: to slim down and a wedding :character00250: to slim for!!! My partner needs to lose weight too, so it is going to make a nice change making SW meals for 2 instead of one!!.....

I am curious about the extra easy plan.. i used to prefer red days as I could pick.. but now I am working full time in a kitchen making cakes....so not alot I can pick at.... plus dont really have the time to sit down and have a lunch... so I drink diet coke to fill me up and then my partner has our tea ready when I get home, so he is also going to have to look at the SW plan!

Anyway, hope to hear from new friends....

I'm a newbie too!

I'm Emma, 25, currently living in Manchester but originally from Wigan.

Me and my partner joined together as we could both stand to lose some weight (me more than him!). So I've been on SW for 2 and a half weeks, lost 4lb in my first week, and gained 0.5lb in my second week. I put the gain down to taking large portions of pasta to work for lunch, as I don't usually eat pasta and I don't think it agrees with me in a weight-loss sense.

About 8 years ago I went on Rosemary Conley and lost around 2 stone. The main thing that helped me was keeping a food diary, so I've picked up that habit again.

I left Rosemary Conley when I started university, and quickly but back on what I'd lost (and the rest).

So now here I am, with quite a substantial amount of weight to lose (my initial target is 5.5 stone off what I weighed in the beginning, but I think once I get there I'll want to lose more).

Nice to meet you :) hopefully we can help each other to get to where we need to be!

I got my half stone this week!! That's 10lb all together. Very pleased. A looooooong way to go but will hopefully get there with ur help guys x

Hey, I'm Emma and I'm new here. Hope you don't mind me gatecrashing :).

I've been on the plan for 2 and a half weeks. Thursday is my weigh in day.

First week I lost 4lb and was over the moon, second week I put half a pound on and was completely confused as to why, as I considered myself to be 100% on plan.

Had a couple of days to think about it and have decided to cut pasta out. I ate a few large portions of it in my second week, and I never usually eat pasta in the first place. Looks like it's working so far judging by my own scales at home but we will see on Thursday!

Had an EESP day today (completely by accident but still), so hoping for a decent loss this week.
 
Morning ladies, hope you are all doing well,weighin day for me today and lost 3lb :). Once I reach my first stone, I'm going to dig my bike out and go for a cycle, a bit lighter and a bit fitter before I brave it :rolleyes:
