Hey guys... Wanted your help to see if this is a good idea?
I've always been rather maths-y (except at sixth form, I did one year and got a D so gave it up for good - or so I thought...) so I've recently been thinking about offering tuition for 11+/SATs/GCSEs... For the 11+ I'd love to teach everything but just maths and statistics for the other two.
I've advertised my services (lol) on Gumtree and I've been sending out messages to family and friends asking them to pass my number on to anyone who may be looking for a tutor, but no such luck as of yet I saw someone who advertised online tuition, ie they take payment through PayPal, and then Skype with the child to teach them whatever they would if they were doing it in person. I guess it opens up a wider client base but do you guys reckon it would be a good idea? Would any of you go for it? Is anyone interested in being my first client?!
I got high As in maths and statistics at GCSE and am doing an Accounting & Finance degree now, I'm in my second year, passed my first year with a first But :sigh: it doesn't look like my idea is going anywhere... I really need something to take off for me, money is tight and tensions are high
