mims?

does anybody have a mim each day or even 2 (one plain one sweet) ? how do mims affect your losses if at all? cheers

Hi... I've been on this site for a while but haven't posted yet. I am following Atkins but weight loss is slow - think it's a metabolic thing. But I have a question... What is a "mim"? Sorry to be so thick! :)

By the way - I really love this site - everyone is so supportive and friendly. xx

I think it stands for Muffin In a Minute, its made using grinded Linseed (flax), look at this thread as it has some great recipes and ideas. I had a chocolate one last night with cream and it came out quite well.

Thanks so much CM... I bought some milled flaxseed which I quite like sprinkled on things so I'll give the MIM a try. :)

I only have one every so often. I find too many make me bloat, but I don't know if they actually affect my weight loss....so I'm no help, lol

Hi Cinta... I have to be really careful as my weight just doesn't shift hardly at all - but at least I'm feeling healthier ... I'll make one and check the scales after! Thank you :)

Certainly make a good cake fix now and then I think. You can do a lot with the basic recipe to make it sweet or savoury so it really helps to add variety even having them once in a while.

i actually cant beleive how many cheats for cakes and stuff there is im delighted hahaha this another thing i must try.... ive never even seen flexseed before haha

Just made my first mims!! It was quite yummy... Added herbs and cheese as I prefer savoury things and didn't want to risk titillating my sweet tooth! Lol
