Make your own using filo pastry and mince meat.

I made these last year.

Cut a sheet of filo pastry into 4 squares. brush edges with beaten egg. Lay one square katy cornered to another square, put a 1-2 tsp of mincemeat in the middle, then bring the corners up and twist them into a parcel shape, pinching the neck together. Brush the edges with egg again and stick in the oven until golden. Dust with icing sugar.

They look really cute like little puddings.

I think these work out at about 3 syns each. But if anyone wants to work it out themselves this is what I got from the syns online.

Mincemeat 1 tbsp = 2 syns (one parcel is 1 syn)
Filo Pastry large sheet = 3 (one parcel is 1.5 syns)

So I make it about 2.5 - 3 syns :D I hope I'm right

Aww i will try these :) does anyone have any idea how many points these are on weight watchers?? normal mince pies? x
