Great idea!!!

You will have an amazing wardrobe to show off your amazing figure!

No junk food tastes as good as you will feel! :)

Yep you certainly do save some dosh! If you work it out, just a can of pop a day is about £6 a week! Happy shopping!xx

I agree - far from being expensive I definitely think that this diet saves me money. I'd never spend £36 on a single weekly shop *but* with the eating out, the drinks, the snacks etc it must have been adding up to well over that on average.

I've been saving my £2 coins for 18 months in a special shoe fund, shoe-shaped money box and that is getting spent when i get to goal. It's about £200 now so will pay for some lovely knee length boots (and more!!)

great idea i did that when i gave up smoking for 10 months saved enough to go to barbados then stupidly started smoking again but i will need new clothes so going to do it again like you

yeah, u do save loads of dosh....I think al start saving all the money I would've used on food....good idea

Yeah, on the surface of it £36 sounds like more than you'd be spending on a weekly food shop, but, I know I'd be at the off-license most days topping that up with fizzy drinks & snacks, not to mention socialising. The most I spend on a night out at the pub now is two quid on some sparkling water!

I am very much looking forward to spending what's left of my student loan on some fantastic clothes. Well, I'll need a new wardrobe, won't I? :)

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with a stupid amount of shoes & nothing to actually wear them with!

To be honest...I'd easily spend £36 on a weekly shop! If you think about it... a few loaves of bread, fruit, vege, meat etc not to mention soft drinks or whatever...I would normally spend around £50 per week. When you add to that all the junk and booze.... well I'm quids in on lipotrim!!

I checked my bank balance today and was amazed to see I still had over a thousand pounds left!! Normally I have about £300 left at this point in the month and am always spent up by pay day!! I'm realising that the majority of my money goes on food and drink!!! How awful!!

I can easily spend £5-10 a day on junk food and fizzy drinks...didn't realise how much I was wasting!!!

It's great. Slimmer AND richer! GET INNNN!!!

xx

Yeah, this diet is definately cheaper than my old ways of eating. We used to go out to eat 3/4 nights a week and when i wasn't doing that i'd be sitting in front of Tv with my ususal binge food or take away.

I always remember British Telecom having an offer on phone bills where they highlighted the ten most popular numbers in your phone bill which meant you could call these cheap rate. Did I have any friends or family in my to 10? I'm embarrased to say that when it came back every number in the top ten was either a take away or restaurant. :eek:I used to easily spend £30.00 a day on food and drink in one form or another so this diet is saving me masses! Roll on the size 14's so i can put it all to good use in a shop that isn't Evans.

well in ireland its 65euro a week so that's a lot more than what it is in england. Im not saving as much but its still worth it not feeling sick after eating. :):):):):):)

Yep, agreee that you save a lot. There is just wo of us and the weekly shop is half what it was. We also eat out a few lunches/nights a week. Now I'm just a fizzy water or black coffee, so saving lots there as oh gets the tab all the time now!!!! So putting some money in a saving box is a good idea and an added incentive.
